Worth Sharing Vol. 10

Number 10 of the Worth Sharing series. Cheers! I started this series last November and I thoroughly enjoy making these link treasures for you. A recap (in case you’re new) from Vol 1: Ever find something so good on the web that you want to share it with as many people as possible so they can enjoy it too? Welcome to a few things I found worth sharing. Some mindful reinforcements from around the web.

Every Self-Help Book Ever, Boiled Down to 11 Simple Rules. What a time saver!

8 really effective tips to boost your courage. I’m a sucker for a good list, what can I say.

Undanced Dances During a Pandemic. “When the pandemic shut down a prison dance program I was given 48 hours to send in guidance as to how we might continue to dance together, apart. It was a rich challenge. Although not a common way of making dances, it turns out that writing dance is actually a liberating way of making dances. There are no financial, gravitational, technical, or locational limitations. Anything is possible. Almost immediately, the dancers began sending out their choreographies for these undanced dances.”

Returning to this list of questions by Mariame Kaba, a touchstone for me when I am outraged by injustice:

1. What resources exist so I can better educate myself?

2. Who's already doing work around this injustice?

3. Do I have the capacity to offer concrete support & help to them?

4. How can I be constructive?

Alternatives to saying, “how are you?” A very real, very useful graph:
